Lentil Vegetable Soup

Ingredients:

  • 100g of green lentils
  • 200g of carrots
  • 100g of celery
  • 100g of tomatoes
  • 50g of onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 liter of vegetable broth
  • 5g of olive oil
  • 50g of spinach
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Pot
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Ladle

Instructions:

  • Rinse the green lentils under cold water and set aside.
  • In a pot, heat 5g of olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  • Add diced carrots, celery, and tomatoes to the pot, cooking for approximately 5 minutes until slightly softened.
  • Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the rinsed lentils and let the soup cook for about 20 minutes or until the lentils are tender.
  • Stir in the spinach and cook for an additional 5 minutes until wilted.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your hearty lentil vegetable soup.
