Spicy Murmura Salad

Ingredients:


  • 100g of murmura (puffed rice)
  • 1 medium tomato, diced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup of fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chaat masala

Instructions:


  • In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomato and chopped onion.
  • Add the green chili, fresh coriander leaves, and lemon juice to the bowl.
  • Sprinkle salt, red chili powder, and chaat masala over the mixture.
  • Gently mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
  • Add the murmura (puffed rice) to the bowl and carefully mix until the murmura is coated with the tomato-onion mixture.
  • Transfer the salad to a serving plate and garnish with additional coriander leaves if desired.
