Quick Garlic and Onion Pasta

Ingredients:


  • 200g of spaghetti
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:


  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions in a pot with salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a bit of pasta water.
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic and chopped onion. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent and the garlic is fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the garlic and onion mixture. Toss everything together, adding a bit of reserved pasta water as needed to help combine and flavor the pasta.
  • Season with salt to taste and mix well to ensure all the pasta is coated with the oil, garlic, and onion mixture.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
