Grilled Shrimp Tacos with Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients:


  • 400g of shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 80g of corn tortillas
  • 150g of green cabbage, shredded
  • 50g of carrots, shredded
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of lime juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Cilantro for garnish

Instructions:


  • In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure shrimp are evenly coated.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Once hot, place the marinated shrimp on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are pink and opaque.
  • While the shrimp are grilling, prepare the cabbage slaw by mixing shredded cabbage and carrots in a bowl. Add a pinch of salt and mix well.
  • Warm the corn tortillas on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side until soft.
  • Once the shrimp are done, assemble the tacos by placing a few shrimp on each tortilla, topping with the cabbage slaw, and garnishing with cilantro.
