- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
- 200ml of milk
- 2 large eggs
- 150g of sharp-cheddar cheese
- 50g of flour
- 30g of brown sugar

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Boil a pot of water, add the penne noodles, and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the margarine over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until combined.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and is smooth.
- Remove from heat and beat in the eggs, salt, and pepper until fully combined. Stir in half of the sharp-cheddar cheese, reserving the other half for topping later.
- Combine the cooked penne noodles with the cheese sauce; mix well to coat the noodles evenly.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining sharp-cheddar cheese on top.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over the cheese for a sweet and crunchy topping.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
