Quick Stuffed Grape Leaves

Ingredients:


  • 10 large grape leaves
  • 100g of cooked rice
  • 50g of ground meat
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Kitchen Tools Needed:


  • Pot
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board

Instructions:


  • In a small skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion until translucent.
  • In a bowl, mix the cooked rice, ground meat, sautéed onion, salt, pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  • Lay the grape leaves flat on a cutting board and place a tablespoon of the filling at the base of each leaf.
  • Fold the sides over the filling and roll up tightly, similar to a burrito.
  • Place the stuffed grape leaves in the pot and pour the lemon juice over them.
  • Add just enough water to cover the grape leaves and bring to a boil over high heat. Then reduce to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
