Cheesy Cabbage and Rice Bowl

Ingredients:


  • 200g of Rice
  • 100g of Vermicelli
  • 2 Eggs
  • 150g of Gouda Cheese
  • 200g of Cabbage
  • 50ml of sauce

Instructions:


  • Cook the rice according to package instructions until fluffy.
  • In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the vermicelli for about 3-4 minutes until al dente, then drain.
  • Shred the cabbage and sauté it in a little oil on the stove until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs and cook them in a skillet on the stove until scrambled.
  • Combine the cooked rice, vermicelli, sautéed cabbage, and scrambled eggs in a large mixing bowl, mixing well.
  • Add the sauce and half of the gouda cheese to the bowl, and stir until everything is well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish and top with the remaining gouda cheese.
  • Place the dish in the microwave and heat until the cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
