Carrot and Chocolate Bread Pudding

Ingredients:


  • 200g of grated carrot
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 250ml of milk
  • 100g of sugar
  • 100g of chocolate
  • 2 apples, diced
  • 2 guavas, dice
  • 2 bananas, mashed

Instructions:


  • In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the grated carrots and diced apples, guavas, and bananas. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • In a separate bowl, heat the milk and dissolve the sugar in it until fully integrated. Do not bring it to a boil.
  • Meanwhile, tear the bread into small pieces and add them to the mixture of cooked fruits. Pour the milk mixture over the bread and mix well.
  • Add the chocolate pieces to the warm bread and fruit mixture. Mix until the chocolate is melted and fully incorporated.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and press down gently to even it out.
  • Place the baking dish on the stove top, cover, and cook on low heat for about 15 minutes, or until set.
  • Remove from heat, let it cool slightly, and serve warm.
