Quick Gouda & Carrot Bake

Ingredients:

  • 200ml of Milk
  • 150g of Carrot
  • 100g of Gouda cheese
  • 2 tbsp of Ketchup
  • 2 slices of Bread
  • 1 tsp of Paprika
  • 1 tsp of Cumin
  • 1 tsp of Sumac
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp of Olive Oil
  • 50ml of Water

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Microwave Oven

Instructions:

  • Grate the carrots finely and place them in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Add the water and cover the bowl with a microwave-safe lid or plastic wrap, then microwave for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the milk, olive oil, ketchup, cumin, sumac, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Add the softened carrots to the milk mixture and stir until fully mixed.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish or keep it in the microwave-safe bowl.
  • Top with grated Gouda cheese.
  • Tear the bread into small pieces and sprinkle on top of the cheese for a crunchy topping.
  • Microwave on high for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and the dish is heated through.
  • Let it sit for a minute before serving.
