Ingredients:

  • 150g of rolled oats
  • 100g of all-purpose flour
  • 80g of brown sugar
  • 50g of granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 100g of unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 150g of crushed Oreo cookies
  • 50g of chocolate chips

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract into the mixture until fluffy.
  • In another bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; mix well.
  • Gradually, add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until fully combined.
  • Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies and chocolate chips into the dough.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
