Grilled Chicken Salad with Avocado

Ingredients:

  • 200g of grilled chicken breast
  • 100g of mixed salad greens
  • 1 medium avocado
  • 50g of cherry tomatoes
  • 30g of cucumber
  • 10ml of olive oil
  • 10ml of lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • salad plate
  • knife
  • cutting board

Instructions:

  • Start by grilling the chicken breast until fully cooked and nicely charred, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  • While the chicken is grilling, prepare the salad by mixing the salad greens, cherry tomatoes halved, and sliced cucumber in a mixing bowl.
  • Once the chicken is cooked, allow it to rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
  • Add the sliced chicken on top of the salad mix.
  • Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh. Cut it into slices and add it to the salad.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create a dressing.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the salad and give it a gentle toss to combine all ingredients.
