Egg and Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 100g of oats
  • 200ml of milk
  • 1 tbsp of clarified butter
  • 2 eggs

Instructions:

  • In a small saucepan, combine the oats and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture starts to simmer.
  • Once it simmers, reduce the heat to low and continue to cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the oats are soft and have absorbed most of the milk, stirring occasionally.
  • In a separate skillet, melt clarified butter over medium heat.
  • Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook them to your liking, whether sunny-side-up or scrambled.
  • Once the oatmeal is cooked, spoon it into a bowl, top it with the cooked eggs, and season with salt and pepper if desired.
